I'm Here!

I made it! Turns out that this weekend was Labour Day and so everything was closed up and couldn't get on the internet. Life here is awesome! I am staying in a small town outside of Hamilton called Ngarawahia (not as hard to pronounce as you think!). My host Alex also has another couple from Hong Kong staying with him and so we have been teaming up on projects and getting lots done! Yesterday we fixed his roof and today we have been working on a fence to keep the sheep out and the garden in!
I would love to hear from everyone! and hope the weather isn't too bad yet! it's partly cloudy and 17 here, makes for a great time! I don't have a whole lot else to say but I'm sure I will soon!

    Good to hear you got there. The weather changed here once you left. We're into rain, weird storms, CSO's, mad traffic and dark afternoons. You know the drill, only 7 more months of it though :/
    So Ngarawahia doesn't sound like a place with a hopping night life, what's it like?
